• Leverage multiplies losses as well as gains. A small price move against you can wipe out your margin.
• Positions can be liquidated automatically, often at a worse price than you expected.
• Funding rates on perpetual contracts are charged regularly and can add up to significant costs.
• In fast markets, orders can fill with slippage or not fill at all.

Crypto prices are volatile and can move sharply at any time, including outside normal business hours. Markets can be thin, manipulated or halted. Stablecoins, including any we pay payback in, can lose their peg.
